Bhagvati is a very friendly dog that was a victim of animal cruelty. We found her roaming the streets on November 5th with a metal wire tied around her neck. Her neck was lacerated and cut to the bone. We tried catching her a few times but she always managed to get away. Finally, after a few times, Ambareesh was able to catch her with a net and we admitted her to Advitha Pet Hospital.
The doctors found what they described as thousands of maggots in her wound. They believe that the injury was at least a month old. This poor dog has been suffering for over a month with this wound.

The doctors did a phenomenal job treating her. They had to clean her wound every day and change her bandages. Her wounds are healing and her skin is growing back. They are expecting a full recovery and a possible release by November 25th.
